I have only owned 3 gas pistols, TM 1911, KWA 1911, and TM MK23. I liked all of them a lot, but found they are all very different.
TM 1911:
I found that out of the three it performed the best. At about 60 ft I could hit the goal post of my brother's lacrosse goal about 6/10 times, not a very easy target. The mags were double stacked and the gun itself was a BB model, so it wasn't very gas efficient and the last few rounds were always weaker. Didn't mind the plastic, it was a great pistol
KWA 1911:
metal blow-back, very fun. I don't think it was as accurate as the TM, but it felt a bit nicer and was very gas efficient because of teh single stack mag. Never had a problem with the last few shots.
TM MK23:
I only used this when it was relatively cold outside (max temp I used it was about 43 degrees). It being an NBB didn't bother me, that made it more gas effficient and often would leave a couple more shots worth of gas after the mag was empty. I could not fairly judge the range or accuracy, so I'll leave that to someone who owned it longer than me. What I loved about it was how quiet it was. If someone shot you from 30ft away there is a chance they would not hear it at all.
My next GBB is going to be a kjw CO2 ready m1911. I'm probably gonna upgrade it as time goes on, but the first thing I'm gonna do is change out the grips and throw in a TB, I want a bit of accuracy out of my next pistol.
